"It's really a miracle my brother is still alive. I'm so thankful for the miracle of medicine because without it I never would have been able to know my own brother. And I think people with mental disabilities are wrongly represented in our society. I think awareness is getting better than it used to be, but I have seen how people take advantage of those with disabilities and I think it is absolutely shameful. These people did not chose that life for themselves, and I think it's disgraceful for people to think they are better than them. If anything we need to strive to live up to their example. Like my brother loves life and loves everyone he comes into contact with. We need more people like that in our world. My brother is practically a celebrity in my community, it's cute. And I am glad the community is so good with him. Anyways. I want to advocate for my brother, and share his story, and the significant role that my mom has played in his life.
